Poetry News: Twitter Poetry Rolls On!

Though I've always (mostly) been a "bloggers should publish their own content" kind of guy, I thought I'd share some Poetry News with you.

Over the past week, I have come across a couple of news stories on National Public Radio (NPR) that might be of interest, mostly because they both deal with poetry and people. Check them out and comment if you'd like:
Poetry From Iran, One Tweet At A Time Tease: "Persians are known for their poetry. So it is not surprising that as recent dramatic events have unfolded in Iran, so many Iranians who have been alerting the world have written poetically — even in their tweets."

Twitter Music Reviews: Criticism As Haiku Tease: "'I approach Twitter as a science,' (Song of the Day editor Stephen)Thompson says. 'I think Twitter should be perfectly punctuated, should be in complete sentences. Words should be spelled out, and it should be exactly 140 characters.'"
Stay Poetic!
